(\u201cPiedmont,\u201d \u201cthe Company,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cour,\u201d or \u201cus\u201d) (Nasdaq: PLL; ASX: PLL), a leading North American supplier of lithium products critical to the U.S. electric vehicle supply chain, and Sayona Mining Limited (\u201cSayona\u201d) provide an update in relation to the proposed merger between Piedmont and Sayona announced on November 19, 2024 (the \u201cTransaction\u201d) that will combine the two companies to create a leading lithium business.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nUpon completion of the transaction and subject to Sayona shareholder approval, the name of the combined business will be changed to Elevra Lithium.
