\nThe Travelers Institute<\/a>, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV<\/a>), will celebrate its 15th anniversary<\/a> today by ringing The Opening Bell\u00ae<\/sup> at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).\n<\/p>\n

\nFollowing the ceremony, the Travelers Institute will host a symposium in the NYSE Board Room as part of its new Forces at Work<\/a>\u2120 initiative. A keynote address and two educational panels will be broadcast live to the public, exploring the state of mental health in America, how business leaders can promote mental well-being in the workplace, and insights on navigating today\u2019s labor market.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cFor 15 years, the Travelers Institute has led thoughtful and constructive discussions on pressing public policy issues that impact businesses and consumers,\u201d said Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers. \u201cWith our event at the New York Stock Exchange, we will convene thought leaders to elevate important topics that help to shape the future of our industries and communities.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nJerome M. Adams, M.D., M.P.H., FASA, the 20th U.S. Surgeon General and Executive Director of Purdue University\u2019s Health Equity Initiatives and Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning, will open the symposium with a keynote address focused on mental health.\n<\/p>\n
