\n <\/span>, March 27, 2025<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0Washington Trust<\/a>\u00a0recently recognized seven employees for their exceptional leadership, teamwork, and community service during the company’s annual Employee Fest. To celebrate the employees, the Washington Trust Charitable Foundation made donations totaling $7,000<\/span> to local nonprofit organizations chosen by the award winners.<\/p>\n

Nonprofit beneficiaries included Mentor Rhode Island<\/span><\/a> (Warwick, RI<\/span>), Boys and Girls Club of East Providence<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(East Providence, RI<\/span>), Foster Forward<\/span><\/a> (East Providence, RI<\/span>), Amos House<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Providence, RI<\/span>), Animal Rescue Rhode Island<\/a>\u00a0(Peace Dale, RI<\/span>), and Cranston League<\/span> for Cranston’s Future<\/a> (Cranston, RI<\/span>), and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank<\/a>\u00a0(Providence, RI<\/span>).<\/p>\n

In 2024, Washington Trust employees volunteered more than 8,100 hours of their time with more than 225 local nonprofit and community organizations.<\/p>\n
