The screening test is covered for patients receiving community care authorized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as an in-network benefit, with no copay for average-risk individuals who are age 45 or older.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFollowing Medicare coverage for Shield in August 2024, the VA network coverage is the first for individuals between the ages of 45 and 64.
