In 2024, over 700 financial institutions with over 142 trillion USD in assets requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities through CDP\u2019s platform. \nAptar recognizes that caring for the environment means reducing climate emissions. Aptar has set formalized science-based targets for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions reductions that are in line with requirements to keep global warming at 1.5\u00b0 Celsius by 2030. In addition, the Company has a renewable electricity target, as well as a Scope 3 target. Aptar\u2019s targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). The Company also improved its risk and opportunities disclosures in accordance with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). In addition, Aptar received the ISO 14046 certification<\/a>, assuring the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in all scopes, especially as it increased renewable electricity purchases. Aptar has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) in Europe and the US to provide more localized sources of renewable energy dedicated to Aptar.\n<\/p>\n
