(the “Company” or “Yum China<\/span>“) (NYSE: YUMC and HKEX: 9987) announced that after a thorough search process, Adrian Ding<\/span> has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, effective on March 6, 2025<\/span>. Adrian has been serving as Acting Chief Financial Officer since October 2024<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Adrian Ding\u00a0joined the Company in\u00a0March 2019\u00a0as Vice President of Corporate Finance and served as Chief Investment Officer from February 2020\u00a0to March 2025.\u00a0 Over the past six\u00a0years, Adrian has led multiple investment and capital markets projects to enhance the Company’s portfolio and organizational strengths, including the acquisitions of KFC joint venture stakes, and strategic investments in the supply chain, technology, and other strategic areas. He also played a critical role in driving Yum China’s<\/span> listing on the\u00a0Hong Kong\u00a0Stock Exchange. Additionally, Adrian served as General Manager of the Company’s Lavazza joint venture from March 2022<\/span> to December 2024<\/span>. He was instrumental in establishing and building the Lavazza business in China<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining the Company,\u00a0Adrian worked for Alibaba Group Holding Limited from 2018 to early 2019, responsible for strategic investments in the technology and media sectors. Before that,\u00a0he gained extensive experience in investment banking, advising\u00a0clients on a number of capital markets and M&A projects.\u00a0Adrian\u00a0worked at UBS AG as a Director in Investment Banking and\u00a0previously\u00a0held roles\u00a0at Morgan Stanley and\u00a0Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited.\u00a0Adrian\u00a0currently serves as a director of\u00a0Fujian Sunner Development Co., Ltd.\u00a0(Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 002299).
