FRAMINGHAM, Mass. & NEW ORLEANS–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Ameresco, Inc.<\/a>, (NYSE: AMRC), a leading energy solutions provider dedicated to helping customers navigate the energy transition, today announced the approval of their proposal for a streetlight technology pilot for the city of New Orleans. This pilot project aims to revolutionize the city’s streetlighting infrastructure by integrating cutting-edge LED lights and smart city technology, enhancing energy efficiency and public safety.\n<\/p>\n

\nFor the pilot project, Ameresco will install and manage 56 existing city streetlight fixtures with LED equivalents with the support of its partners, Legacy Professional Services and AllStar Electric. The project\u2019s scope includes Ubicquia UbiCell\u00ae<\/span> lighting management system (LMS) with 47 UbiCells\u00ae and 16 Ubicquia UbiHub\u00ae<\/span> smart city devices and the TerraGo Smart City operations software platform to deploy and manage all assets.\n<\/p>\n
