Communities, Businesses, and NGOs Unite to Tackle Water Challenges for World Water Day 2025<\/b><\/p>\n

Volunteers Invited to Join a Global Wave of Action to Expand Clean Water Access<\/i><\/p>\n

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nWith 2.2 billion people lacking safe water, communities, businesses, and NGOs are taking bold action this World Water Day to accelerate solutions. From March 17-22, thousands of volunteers worldwide will mobilize to improve water security\u2014through cleanups, education programs, and projects expanding access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cAround the world, volunteers are driving meaningful progress toward providing clean water and sanitation for communities everywhere,\u201d said Austin Alexander, Vice President of Sustainability and Social Impact at Xylem, a leading global water technology company. \u201cThe Wave of Action is an opportunity to scale our impact on urgent water challenges and help communities become water-secure. We\u2019ve seen what\u2019s possible when people come together to take real action.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\nFor World Water Day 2025, Xylem and its partners welcome participants to get involved in making communities around the world more water-secure. Whether leading a cleanup, joining an educational event, or supporting WASH initiatives, volunteers will help build a more water-secure world.\n<\/p>\n
