CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Kemper Corporation<\/a> (NYSE: KMPR) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company\u2019s quarterly dividend to $0.32 per share, an increase of 3.1% or one cent over the previous quarterly dividend. The new annual dividend amount is $1.28 per share, as compared to the current dividend amount of $1.24 per share.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThis dividend increase underscores our confidence in achieving consistent, long-term growth for our shareholders,\u201d said Kemper President and CEO Joseph P. Lacher, Jr.<\/p>\n
