\nKopin\u2019s full color Brillian display is used in a pilot\u2019s helmet-mounted display system (HMD) and provides superior situational awareness and survivability in both day and night flight conditions. These advanced, see-through, high-definition, digital HMDs are used on a number of fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms including F-15, F-16, and F\/A-18 fighter jets and CH47F and UH-60 helicopters.<\/p>\n

\nKopin’s patented Brillian microdisplays leverage revolutionary design and processing techniques to deliver remarkable image performance in applications demanding exceptional high brightness. Full-color Brillian displays exhibit brightness levels greater than 34,000 nits (10,000 foot-lamberts) and contrast ratios above 500:1.
