\nValley Bank announced today the appointment of Kevin O\u2019Connor as Market President for Long Island, NY. In this role, Mr. O\u2019Connor will focus on deepening current relationships, new business development initiatives and cultivating growth opportunities throughout Long Island.<\/p>\n

\nMr. O\u2019Connor brings over 35 years of banking experience to Valley. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Dime Community Bank, the successor organization to Bridgehampton National Bank (\u201cBridge\u201d) after the 2021 merger between the two organizations. Mr. O\u2019Connor had served since 2007 as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Bridge where he led the Long Island-based institution through a period of meaningful organic growth and financial success. He was named as one of Long Island\u2019s top CEOs by Long Island Business News. His other roles in financial services included senior executive positions at North Fork Bank and KPMG.<\/p>\n
