Mr. Lacy has served in a variety of operational roles since joining UDR in 2006 and has been instrumental in leading the Company\u2019s operating strategy and implementing many of the Company\u2019s innovative initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\nSecond, Joe Fisher has been appointed to the role of Chief Investment Officer (\u201cCIO\u201d) in addition to his roles as President and Chief Financial Officer (&#8220;CFO\u201d). Mr. Fisher, who has served as the Company\u2019s CFO since 2017, will take on the additional responsibilities of overseeing the Company\u2019s investment and development functions.<\/p>\n<p>\nFurthermore, the Company will initiate an executive search process to recruit a new Chief Financial Officer.
