(Nasdaq: TNXP) (\u201cTonix\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), a biopharmaceutical company,\u00a0today announced that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock (or common stock equivalents in lieu thereof) and warrants to purchase shares of common stock in a public offering. All of the securities to be sold in the offering are to be offered by Tonix. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.<\/p>\n

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and general corporate purposes, the build out of the Company\u2019s manufacturing and research and development facilities, and the acquisition or licensing of approved products and products in development.<\/p>\n

A Phase 2 study of TNX-1300 is expected to be initiated in the fourth quarter of 2023.
