His longtime colleague Sandeep Sharma will also be joining as a managing director, and the two will lead coverage of consulting, professional, technology &amp; digital services, and business process outsourcing.<\/p>\n<p>\nMr. Bergstein comes to Evercore from Morgan Stanley, where he started his career in 1988 as a financial analyst. In 2001, he founded the global services group, which he led until 2021 when he became a vice chairman of investment banking, responsible for leading coverage of several of the firm\u2019s most important clients.
