(NASDAQ: FIZZ) today announced results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended April 29, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"bwuline\">Fourth Quarter:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bwlistdisc\">\n<li>\nNet sales increased to a record $287 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nGross margins grew 130 bps to 36% of sales;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nNet income increased 6% to $36 million; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nEarnings per share increased to $.39.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"bwuline\">Fiscal Year:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"bwlistdisc\">\n<li>\nNet sales increased $35 million to a record $1.2 billion;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nNet income was $142 million;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nEarnings per share was $1.52; and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\nNet cash generated by operations was $162 million.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\u201cWe are pleased to report another year of record sales in a challenging operating environment.
