BERWYN, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Virpax\u00ae<\/sup> Pharmaceuticals, Inc.<\/a> (\u201cVirpax\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) (NASDAQ: VRPX),<\/b> a company specializing in developing non-addictive products for pain management, post-traumatic stress disorder, central nervous system (CNS) disorders and viral barrier indications, today announced that effective June 20, 2023, the Board of Directors of Virpax Pharmaceuticals, Inc. appointed Vinay Shah to serve as the Company\u2019s Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Shah will also serve as the Company\u2019s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer.<\/p>\n

\nOn June 18, 2023, Christopher Chipman notified the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company of his decision to resign from his position as the Company\u2019s Chief Financial Officer to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Chipman will remain an employee of the Company until June 30, 2023 in order to aid in an orderly transition. Mr. Chipman\u2019s resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company\u2019s operations, policies, or practices, including any matters concerning the Company\u2019s controls or any financial or accounting-related matters or disclosures.<\/p>\n
