ZUG, Switzerland, June 20, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Pharvaris<\/a> (Nasdaq: PHVS), a clinical-stage company focused on the development and commercialization of novel oral bradykinin-B2-receptor antagonists for the treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) and other bradykinin-B2-receptor-mediated indications, today announced that it has entered into a subscription agreement relating to the offer and sale of an aggregate of 6,951,340 ordinary shares of the Company, par value \u20ac0.12 per share (the \u201cOrdinary Shares\u201d), in a private placement (the \u201cOffering\u201d) to a group of institutional investors, led by General Atlantic<\/a> and venBio Partners<\/a> with participation from Bain Capital Life Sciences<\/a>, Foresite Capital<\/a>, and Venrock Healthcare Capital Partners<\/a>, at an offering price of $10.07 per share, for gross proceeds of approximately $70 million before deducting any offering-related expenses.<\/p>\n

The Offering is expected to close on or about June 21, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n

Pharvaris intends to use the net proceeds from the Offering to fund research and development and product discovery expenses, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.<\/p>\n
