NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nCorebridge Financial, Inc. (NYSE: CRBG) (\u201cCorebridge\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a special dividend of $0.62 per share payable on June 30, 2023, to common shareholders of record on June 16, 2023. The aggregate amount of the payment to be made in connection with this special dividend will be approximately $400 million.<\/p>\n

\nThis special dividend will be in addition to the Company\u2019s regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.23 per share which is payable on June 30, 2023, to common shareholders of record on June 16, 2023.<\/p>\n

\nPeter Zaffino, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of majority shareholder AIG (NYSE: AIG), and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Corebridge, said: \u201cReturning excess capital to shareholders in the form of a special dividend reflects the Board\u2019s confidence in Corebridge\u2019s consistent performance and its liquidity position.\u201d<\/p>\n
