(\u201cCORE,\u201d \u201cContango\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) (NYSE American: CTGO) is pleased to announce that, according to a preliminary list of additions posted on May 19, 2023, Contango is set to join the broad-market Russell 3000\u00ae and Russell Microcap\u00ae Indexes at the conclusion of the 2023 Russell indexes annual reconstitution, effective after the US market opens on June 26, 2023.<\/p>\n

\nRick Van Nieuwenhuyse, the Company\u2019s President and Chief Executive Officer said: \u201cWe are pleased with Contango\u2019s inclusion on the Russell 3000\u00ae index preliminary list as it marks another important milestone for the Company, and with it will bring broader market awareness for the Company as we advance the Manh Choh project to production.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe annual reconstitution process for the Russell indexes captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of April 28, 2023, ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the U.S. All-Cap Russell 3000\u00ae Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the Large-Cap Russell 1000\u00ae Index or Small-Cap Russell 2000\u00ae Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes.<\/p>\n
