BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Netcapital Inc.<\/a> (Nasdaq: NCPL, NCPLW), (\u201cNetcapital” or the \u201cCompany\u201d), a digital private capital markets ecosystem, today announced the closing of the purchase and sale of an aggregate of 1,100,000 shares of its common stock, at a purchase price of $1.55 per share, in a registered direct offering.<\/p>\n

\nThe gross proceeds to the Company from the offering were approximately $1.7 million, before deducting the placement agent’s fees and other offering expenses payable by the Company. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay approximately $365,000 of outstanding indebtedness, including accrued interest, and the remainder for working capital and other general corporate purposes.<\/p>\n
