DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–Primoris Services Corporation (NYSE: PRIM) (\u201cPrimoris\u201d or \u201cCompany\u201d)<\/b> received two renewables awards with a combined value over $200 million. The Company\u2019s Energy Segment secured the projects in the first quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThese awards add over $200 million to the more than $3 billion of backlog the Energy Segment started with in 2023,\u201d said Tom McCormick, President and Chief Executive Officer of Primoris. \u201cWe are pleased that one of the awards is for a carbon capture utilization and storage pipeline project located in the Midwest set to begin in the second quarter of 2024. We believe this award demonstrates our ability to broaden the scope of our pipeline projects to align with the ongoing energy transition. Additionally, we continue to win utility-scale solar work through our consistent execution and strong customer relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe engineering, procurement and construction of a utility-scale solar facility in the Southwest is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023 with completion of the project expected in the third quarter of 2024.<\/p>\n
