(the \u201cCompany\u201d) received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of the Nasdaq Stock Market (\u201cNasdaq\u201d) indicating that, based upon the closing bid price of the Company\u2019s common shares for the 30 consecutive business day period between February 14, 2023, through March 28, 2023, the Company did not meet the minimum bid price of US$1.00 per share required for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). The Notice has no immediate effect on the listing of the Company\u2019s common shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe letter also indicated that the Company will be provided with a compliance period of 180 calendar days, or until September 25, 2023 (the \u201cCompliance Period\u201d), in which to regain compliance pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A). In order to regain compliance with Nasdaq\u2019s minimum bid price requirement, the Company\u2019s common shares must maintain a minimum closing bid price of at least US$1.00 for a minimum of ten consecutive business days during the Compliance Period.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nIn the event the Company does not regain compliance by the end of the Compliance Period, the Company may be eligible for an additional 180 calendar days to regain compliance.
