CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nEquity Residential (NYSE: EQR) today announced that its Board of Trustees declared quarterly dividends on the Company\u2019s common and preferred shares. A regular common share dividend for the first quarter of $0.6625 per share will be paid on April 14, 2023 to shareholders of record on March 27, 2023. The annualized dividend of $2.65 per share is a 6.0% increase over the Company\u2019s 2022 common share dividend.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWe are pleased to announce this increase in the Company\u2019s dividend which reflects the current strength of our business as well as our confidence in its prospects going forward. \nA quarterly dividend of $1.03625 per share will be paid on March 31, 2023 to shareholders of record on March 20, 2023 of the Company\u2019s Series K Preferred Shares.\n<\/p>\n

2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders<\/b><\/p>\n

\nIn addition, the Company declared that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. CT. Shareholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2023 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.\n<\/p>\n
