(NASDAQ: LAUR)), today announced it has joined the\u00a0Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network<\/a> (APN). The APN is a global community of AWS Partners that leverage programs, expertise, and resources to build, market, and sell customer offerings.<\/p>\n

Sumadi’s status as an AWS Partner strengthens the business’ ability to deploy large-scale, simultaneous proctoring of online tests and assessments for clients around the world, including universities, English language schools, and corporate and government organizations. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Working with AWS has allowed Sumadi to provide its clients with cost-effective, scalable proctoring solutions with real-time reporting capabilities. Today, the business uses\u00a0Amazon Rekognition<\/a>\u00a0for face and object detection,\u00a0AWS Lambda<\/a>\u00a0to run code on a serverless event-driven compute service\u00a0Amazon DynamoDB<\/a>\u00a0to store metadata, and\u00a0Amazon API Gateway<\/a>\u00a0to create, maintain and secure application programming interfaces (APIs).<\/p>\n

Since migrating to AWS in 2020, Sumadi has been able to scale its online proctoring services to support 50,000 concurrent users, each generating one record every 30 seconds \u2013 an increase of 25 times compared to before.<\/p>\n
