The company already achieved 19% intensity reduction in 2020 as reported in its latest <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=3296765-1&amp;h=289201668&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fcorporate.goodyear.com%2Fcontent%2Fdam%2Fgoodyear-corp%2Fdocuments%2Fresponsibility%2Fcorp-responsibility-reports%2F2020-corporate-responsibility-report.pdf.coredownload.pdf&amp;a=Corporate+Responsibility+Report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Corporate Responsibility Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By purchasing around 700,000 megawatt-hours of renewable electricity, Goodyear can ensure that manufacturing plants in <span class=\"xn-location\">France<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Germany<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Luxembourg<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Poland<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Slovenia<\/span>, <span class=\"xn-location\">Turkey<\/span> and <span class=\"xn-location\">the Netherlands<\/span> will operate on sustainably sourced electricity. This shift will reduce the company&#8217;s carbon\u00a0footprint by up to 260,000 tons.<\/p>\n<p>Goodyear will increase usage of renewable energy sources like hydro, wind, solar or geothermic biomass power to achieve this critical shift.
