\n PARIS<\/span>, Sept. 2, 2021<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0Interxion: A Digital Realty Company (NYSE: DLR) and leading European provider of carrier- and cloud-neutral colocation data centre solutions, announced today the opening of its latest European data centre in Paris<\/span>. \u00a0The new facility is expected provide up to 12 megawatts of IT load capacity and eight data halls providing over 690m<\/span>2<\/sup> of new colocation facilities. \u00a0Located less than 30 kilometers east of Paris<\/span>, PAR12 is Interxion’s 12th<\/sup> data centre in the French capital region and is designed to deliver a dynamic community for customers to deploy network hubs on PlatformDIGITAL\u00ae<\/a>, a first of its kind global data centre platform for scaling digital business.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Ideally situated in Ferri\u00e8res-en-Brie, the new development is the third hub in the Paris<\/span> region designed to meet the growing needs of cloud service providers seeking to improve the resilience of their services. \u00a0It complements the two existing data centre hubs in the north and south of Paris<\/span>. \u00a0In addition, the new data centre will allow enterprise customers to deploy disaster recovery scenarios from Paris<\/span> and the east of France<\/span> using the available low latency networks deployed along the A4 motorway.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
