Celebrity Cruises leads industry in activating ships after a more than year-long industry hiatus from sailing<\/h2>\n

\n MIAMI<\/span>, July 25, 2021<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0The wonder of travel sails forward as Celebrity Cruises’ latest ship, Celebrity Equinox<\/i>, departed for the Caribbean<\/span> from Fort Lauderdale<\/span>, capping an exciting eight weeks that saw the new-luxury brand lead the industry with eight ships back in the water during that time. Celebrity Cruises restarted the North American cruise industry this summer on June 5<\/span> with Celebrity Millennium<\/i> sailing the Caribbean<\/span> from St. Maarten<\/span> and quickly followed on June 26<\/span> with Celebrity Edge<\/i>, the first ship to sail from a U.S. port in more than a year.<\/p>\n

The recently ‘revolutionized’ Celebrity Equinox<\/i>‘s first sailing features a seven-night Western Caribbean<\/span> itinerary visiting the beautiful ports of St. Maarten<\/span> and St. Thomas, along with Nassau, Bahamas<\/span>. She then rotates between Eastern and Western Caribbean<\/span> itineraries. <\/p>\n
