TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–CI Financial Corp.<\/a> (\u201cCI\u201d) (TSX:CIX; NYSE:CIXX) today announced it has completed its acquisition of Dowling & Yahnke, LLC<\/a> (\u201cD&Y\u201d), a San Diego-based wealth manager with approximately US$5.1 billion in assets.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe acquisition, which was first announced<\/a> in May 2021, adds one of the country\u2019s leading registered investment advisors (\u201cRIAs\u201d) to the CI group and significantly expands CI\u2019s presence in the key California market. It also increases CI\u2019s U.S. assets to more than US$65 billion and total assets to approximately US$244 billion.\n<\/p>\n
