(“Alexandria<\/span>” or the “Company”) (NYSE: ARE) today announced that the underwriters of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 7,000,000\u00a0shares of the Company’s common stock fully exercised their option to purchase an additional 1,050,000 shares of the Company’s common stock at a public offering price of $184.00<\/span> per share. In connection with the offering and exercise of the option, the Company entered into forward sale agreements, each as amended, between the Company and each of\u00a0Royal Bank of Canada<\/span>, Bank of America, N.A., Citibank, N.A., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.\u00a0(together, the\u00a0“forward purchasers”). The exercise of the option to purchase an additional 1,050,000 shares closed on June 22, 2021<\/span>.<\/p>\n

RBC Capital Markets, BofA Securities,\u00a0Citigroup, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P.
