With more than 100 Member Organizations, DTRA is the leading multi-stakeholder initiative focused on accelerating the global adoption of decentralized research.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">DTRA members have defined four priority areas as a framework for new initiatives:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:decimal\">\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">To\u00a0<strong>establish common nomenclature &amp; definitions<\/strong>, archetypes and key performance indicators around the practice of decentralized research.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">To <strong>identify and promote<\/strong><strong>best practices<\/strong> in decentralized research.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">To prioritize <strong>education<\/strong> by building a knowledge repository and mechanisms for information sharing.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">To <strong>identify and remove barriers<\/strong> to decentralized research implementation, establishing roadmaps to their resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p align=\"justify\">A full listing of the initiatives grouped by priority area is available <a href=\"https:\/\/dtra.org\/priorities-initiatives\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. While each priority area has several associated initiatives, the following have been prioritized in the immediate term:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Create a comprehensive <strong>Decentralized Research Glossary <\/strong>that is easily accessible to relevant stakeholders to establish common nomenclature and definitions including defining archetypes of decentralized trials.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Establish a collaborative <strong>Best Practices Repository <\/strong>with dynamic updates of trusted resources for study teams to identify where existing pathways exist for areas perceived as challenges as barriers.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Compile a<strong> Data and Knowledge Repository <\/strong>with evidence of the impact of decentralized research capable of supporting education, research, and awareness.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Build <strong>a central library <\/strong>of global regulatory, legal, privacy, and culture information that contains dynamic links to relevant regulatory sites to assist in the removal of barriers to entry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"justify\">Over 100 DTRA Member Organizations are engaged in advancing policies, research practices and technologies that will accelerate the global adoption of patient-focused, inclusive, decentralized clinical trials and research.
