\nArkansas Virtual Academy (ARVA), an online public school serving K-12 students throughout the state, will celebrate the Class of 2021 during commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 8th<\/sup> and Thursday, May 13th<\/sup>.\n<\/p>\n

\nCollectively, the Class of 2021\u2014which includes more than 300 graduates\u2014reports it has been accepted to trade schools, colleges and universities across the country, including: the University of Arkansas, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas State University, Texas A&M University, the University of Memphis, and Pacific Lutheran University.\n<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIn a year filled with unprecedented challenges, our graduates have truly thrived in the personalized learning environment we\u2019ve offered them,\u201d said ARVA\u2019s Head of School Amy Johnson. \u201cARVA teachers and staff have been devoted to their academic and personal success. \nStudents enroll in ARVA for a number of reasons\u2014some are looking to escape bullying, some may have fallen academically off track, and others are looking for an alternative to the traditional classroom setting. ARVA students access a robust online curriculum in the core subjects of math, science, English language arts, history, art and music as well as a host of electives. These live virtual classes are taught by Arkansas-certified teachers.\n<\/p>\n
