(NYSE: CSV) (\u201cCarriage Services\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) today announced that it intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, $400 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2029 (the \u201cnotes\u201d) through a private offering to persons who are reasonably believed to be qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A and to certain non U.S. persons outside of the United States pursuant to Regulation S, each under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the \u201cAct\u201d).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The notes will be unsecured, senior obligations of the Company, and interest will be payable semi-annually in arrears.
