\n TORONTO<\/span>, April 19, 2021<\/span> \/CNW\/ –\u00a0 Wajax Corporation (“Wajax<\/b>” or the “Corporation<\/b>“) today announced that, in light of deteriorating public health conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to comply with the recent province-wide stay-at-home order and enhanced emergency measures enacted by the Ontario<\/span> government, in person attendance at the Corporation’s May 4, 2021<\/span> annual meeting will not be permitted. It had previously been hoped that some in person attendance would be possible with the strict observance of safety and physical distancing protocols. <\/p>\n

Shareholders are encouraged to vote by proxy online or via telephone in advance of the meeting, and to listen to the meeting by way of a live webcast that will be available on Wajax’s website at www.wajax.com<\/a>. Shareholders will be able to submit questions to management through the webcast and may also submit questions prior to the meeting via the Corporation’s website or via e-mail directed to ir@wajax.com<\/a>, but will not be able to vote through the webcast. The deadline for proxy voting is April 30, 2021<\/span> at 5:00 p.m. EST<\/span>. Following the meeting, a recording of the webcast will be available on Wajax’s website.<\/p>\n

Shareholders are also invited to listen to Wajax’s Q1 2021 Financial Results Conference Call via live webcast which will be available on the Corporation’s website at 2:00 p.m. EST<\/span> on May 4, 2021<\/span>. The Corporation’s Q1 2021 Financial Results presentation will be posted to the Corporation’s website in advance of the conference call and a recording of the call will be posted following its conclusion.<\/p>\n

To the extent it is determined that additional measures are required, including the delay of the meeting or changes to the format, such measures will be announced by way of news release.
