\n John McCoy<\/span>
\n <\/b>\u00a0retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank One Corporation in December 1999<\/span>, where he had been CEO since 1984. During his tenure as CEO, the company grew from $9<\/span>.1\u00a0billion in assets to $269<\/span>.4\u00a0billion, participating in more than 100 acquisitions of other financial institutions. Prior to moving to the parent company in 1983 as President and Chief Operating Officer, he was president of Bank One, Columbus<\/span>, NA from 1977 until 1983, and of Bank One Trust Company, NA in 1981. He joined Bank One (then City National Bank & Trust Company) in 1970. Mr.\u00a0McCoy is a director of Onex Corporation (OCX.SV on the Toronto Stock Exchange).
