The remaining investment policies of the Funds will remain unchanged, including the policy providing that the Funds may invest only up to 5% of their respective Managed Assets in non-deliverable forward foreign exchange contracts. The Funds anticipate that the changes to their investment policies will be implemented on or around May 24, 2021.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFAM is a diversified, closed-end management investment company which commenced investment operations in November 2004. FAM\u2019s primary investment objective is to seek a high level of current income. As a secondary objective, FAM seeks capital appreciation.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFEO is a diversified, closed-end management investment company which commenced investment operations in August 2006. FEO\u2019s investment objective is to provide a high level of total return.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nFirst Trust Advisors L.P.
