Patients also demonstrated reductions in percent time in hypoglycemia during diurnal periods (<span class=\"xn-chron\">8 am to midnight<\/span>) and number of hypoglycemia events as measured by CGM.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Avexitide was well-tolerated in this study.\u00a0 The most common adverse events were injection site bruising, nausea, and headache, all of which occurred with lower frequency during Avexitide vs. placebo treatment.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>Eiger previously reported topline data from this study on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/\/10.86.178.63\/Users\/TJoshi\/AppData\/Local\/Microsoft\/Windows\/INetCache\/2019\/PBH\/2019%200325%20ENDO%202019%20PREVENT_FINAL.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"xn-chron\">March 25, 2019<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Avexitide treatment demonstrated significant and consistent improvements across multiple clinical and metabolic parameters, as measured both in the clinical setting during hypoglycemia provocation and in the patient home setting under &#8216;real world&#8217;
