\u201cCharles was a tireless contributor to our company\u2019s strategy, vision and success for more than a decade,\u201d said Fabio Sandri, Pilgrim\u2019s chief executive officer. \u201cHe was a colleague and friend who was critical to our company\u2019s growth and transformation. Macaluso served as an independent board member at Pilgrim\u2019s since 2009 and was a member of the Audit Committee.
