Mr. Dykstra will be responsible for the execution of both the investment strategy and the day-to-day operational performance of the\u00a0firms consumer\u00a0focused\u00a0logistics\u00a0properties\u00a0division. Prior to joining Sterling, Mr.\u00a0Dykstra\u00a0most recently served Westwood Financial LLC in various leadership roles for almost 30 years.\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Dykstra\u00a0was named Co-CEO\u00a0in 2016 after the company reorganized to consolidate its management company and more than 256 property partnerships to form a single\u00a0ownership\u00a0<\/strong>platform operating as a self-managed REIT with 76\u00a0properties and $1.7 billion under management.\u00a0As Co-CEO of the reorganized company, Mr.\u00a0Dykstra\u00a0spearheaded the institutionalization of the operating platform and was responsible for all aspects of executing the company\u2019s investment strategies as well as the optimization of its property portfolio.\u00a0Prior to his role as Co-CEO, Mr.\u00a0Dykstra\u00a0had been responsible for\u00a0over $5 billion in\u00a0capital markets activities and the company\u2019s expansion from a purely West Coast focus to a national platform.\u00a0Mr.\u00a0Dykstra\u00a0sat on the firm\u2019s Executive Committee and chaired the company’s Investment Committee.<\/p>\n
