Additionally, 15% of veterans were employed in industries that were most likely to be impacted by the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In anticipation of increased need, BWF leveraged their findings and expedited their 2020 grants to provide direct support to the military and veteran population during the pandemic, broadening their usual granting criteria to include applications from programs providing EFA. At the same time, BWF developed a survey to evaluate applicants for risk and professionalism.
