This\u00a0multi-stakeholder committee\u00a0aims to develop a measurement framework to assess the impact of telehealth on rural health care systems, including those that serve rural-dwelling Native Americans. Dr. Griffin is among the health care experts who have been chosen to work on this critical issue that is of increasing importance for the health of our nation\u00a0and is the sole\u00a0representative\u00a0from an accrediting organization\u00a0on the committee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Telehealth offers tremendous possibility of increasing access for individuals in underserved areas, including rural and\u00a0frontier areas. Additionally, telehealth is a critical component in managing\u00a0health security threats.
