On March 22, 2019<\/span>, Covia disclosed receipt of a subpoena from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) “seeking information relating to certain value-added proppants marketed and sold by” the Company.\u00a0On this news, Covia’s stock price fell $0.45<\/span> per share, or 6.9%, to close at $6.05<\/span> per share on March 25<\/span>, 2019.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Then, on November 6, 2019<\/span>, Covia disclosed that “[s]ince the issuance of that subpoena, the SEC has requested additional information and subpoenaed certain current and former employees to testify.”\u00a0On this news, Covia’s stock price fell $0.07<\/span> per share, or 4.3%, to close at $1.56<\/span> per share on November 6<\/span>, 2019.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Finally, on June 29, 2020<\/span>, Covia announced that it had entered into a comprehensive restructuring agreement with lenders and voluntarily filed petitions under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code to implement the agreement.\u00a0On June 30, 2020<\/span>, the New York Stock Exchange delisted the Company.\u00a0 On this news, Covia’s stock price fell $0.18<\/span> per share, or 37.5%, and resumed trading over-the-counter on July 1, 2020<\/span> at $0.30<\/span> per share.<\/p>\n
