The electronic filing portal, hosted and maintained by NIC Alabama, allows businesses to file directly with the Secretary of State\u2019s office, eliminating the extra step of filing at a county probate office.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe online suite offers citizens the ability to:\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bwlistdisc\">\n<li>\nFile formation and dissolution documents electronically for most entity types\n<\/li>\n<li>\nComplete and download amendment documents to be sent directly to the state\n<\/li>\n<li>\nDownload existing business entity documents\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nThe act allows business owners in all counties to take advantage of the convenience of online filing directly with the Secretary of State.
