Two hundred and thirty-seven patients underwent single-position lateral surgery (SPLS) and 153 underwent a &#8220;flip&#8221; surgery.\u00a0The study found that SPLS reduced operating time by more than three hours, and led to a reduction in blood loss and intraoperative radiation dosage for the patient.
