The OneDigital transaction closed <span class=\"xn-chron\">Dec. 31, 2020<\/span>; the Ascensus and Empower transactions are scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the OneDigital agreement, investment advisory services for approximately 1,200 plans, representing <span class=\"xn-money\">$10 billion<\/span> in plan assets, will now be delivered by OneDigital.<\/p>\n<p>Ascensus will acquire the heritage BB&amp;T 401(k) recordkeeping business which includes more than 1,200 retirement plans, consisting of approximately 125,000 plan participants and <span class=\"xn-money\">$5 billion<\/span> in assets. Empower will acquire the heritage SunTrust 401(k) recordkeeping business which includes approximately 300 retirement plans, consisting of approximately 73,000 plan participants and <span class=\"xn-money\">$5 billion<\/span> in plan assets.
