\n GREENWICH, Conn.<\/span>, Dec. 15, 2020<\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ —\u00a0Blue Water Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”), a special purpose acquisition company, announced today that it priced its initial public offering of 5,000,000 units at $10.00<\/span> per unit. Each unit consists of one share of the Company’s Class A common stock and one redeemable warrant to purchase one share of Class A common stock at an initial exercise price of $11.50<\/span> per share. The units will be listed on The Nasdaq Capital Market and trade under the proposed ticker symbol “BLUWU” beginning December 15, 2020<\/span>. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A common stock and warrants are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols “BLUW” and “BLUWW,” respectively.<\/p>\n

The offering is expected to close on December 17, 2020<\/span>, subject to customary closing conditions.<\/p>\n

Blue Water Acquisition Corporation is a blank check company, also commonly referred to as a special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC, formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, share purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. Although the Company may pursue an acquisition opportunity in any business or industry, it intends to focus on a target business in the healthcare industry.
