On December 2, 2020, Culper Research (\u201cCulper\u201d) published a report entitled \u201cOrthoPediatrics Corp. (KIDS): Even Channel Stuffing Can\u2019t Save This Company\u201d.\u00a0 The Culper report described OrthoPediatrics as having \u201cengaged in a channel stuffing scheme that has systematically and significantly overstated revenues.\u201d\u00a0 Among other issues, the Culper report alleged that \u201cthe Company has abused its ability to book revenues upon shipment by selling and shipping excess product directly to its distributors, many of whom are exclusive to the Company\u201d and described it as \u201cconcerning that many of the Company\u2019s \u2018exclusive distributors\u2019 are simply former OrthoPediatrics employees who have formed their own distributorships, often while still employed at the Company.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n

On this news, OrthoPediatrics\u2019 stock price fell $4.12 per share, or 9.13%, to close at $41.02 per share on December 2, 2020.<\/p>\n
