President Meinema explained that the report\u2019s 14 recommendations are based on direct input from migrant agricultural workers, as well as UFCW\u2019s thirty years of advocacy on behalf of these workers.<\/p>\n<p>A key recommendation that would drastically improve the working conditions and living standards of migrant farm workers is making union representation an essential and fundamental aspect of the TFWP, Meinema told the conference attendees.
