\n TORONTO<\/span>, Dec. 11, 2020<\/span> \/CNW\/ –\u00a0CIBC announced today that\u00a0$5.6 million\u00a0was raised for children’s charities globally during the 36th<\/sup> edition of CIBC Miracle Day held\u00a0on December 2<\/span>.<\/p>\n

For the first\u00a0time, the annual event was re-imagined into a virtual program and livestream that brought together celebrities, athletes, charities and CIBC team members \u2013 all in aim of raising funds to improve the lives of children worldwide. Mark Wahlberg,\u00a0Sarah McLachlan,\u00a0Akim Aliu, Mike ‘Pinball’\u00a0Clemons and Mitch Marner<\/span>, were among the celebrities and athletes who brought their energy, passion and enthusiasm to highlight the incredible work of some of these children’s charities\u2014particularly during this difficult time. <\/p>\n
