CI Financial Announces Pricing of US$700<\/b>Million Notes Offering<\/b><\/p>\n

TORONTO–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–
\nCI Financial Corp. (\u201cCI\u201d) (TSX: CIX; NYSE: CIXX), a diversified global asset and wealth management company, announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of US$700 million aggregate principal amount of 3.200% notes due 2030.\n<\/p>\n

\nCI intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay outstanding indebtedness under its revolving credit facility, and the remainder of the net proceeds, if any, for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on December 17, 2020 and is subject to certain customary conditions. The notes, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the \u201cSEC\u201d) under the Multijurisdictional Disclosure System (\u201cMJDS\u201d) in Canada and the United States, will not be offered in Canada or to any resident of Canada.\n<\/p>\n

\nBofA Securities, Inc. is acting as book-running manager for the offering, and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is acting as joint-lead manager.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe offering is being made by way of a preliminary prospectus supplement dated December 10, 2020 to CI\u2019s existing short form base shelf prospectus dated December 4, 2020, which forms a part of and is included in CI\u2019s registration statement on Form F-10, filed in the United States with the SEC under the MJDS.
