The results were presented at the SABCS\u00a0(San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium) 2020, currently taking place virtually.<\/p>\n<div class=\"PRN_ImbeddedAssetReference\" id=\"DivAssetPlaceHolder1\">\n<p>\n          <a href=\"https:\/\/mma.prnewswire.com\/media\/1176198\/PharmAbcineLogo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mma.prnewswire.com\/media\/1176198\/PharmAbcineLogo.jpg\" title=\"PharmAbcineLogo (PRNewsfoto\/PharmAbcine)\" alt=\"PharmAbcineLogo (PRNewsfoto\/PharmAbcine)\" \/><br \/>\n          <\/a>\n        <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As of the data cut-off date of <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 2020<\/span>, all 11 mTNBC patients were recruited and received at least one dose of treatment. No DLT (Dose Limiting Toxicity) was observed. Three patients were receiving treatment <span id=\"spanHghltf5ea\">at the data cut-off date.<\/span> 4 patients (36%) had partial response (PR) as best overall response, and 5 patients (45%) had clinical benefit (PR+SD\u226524weeks). In the high-dose cohort, 3 patients (50%) showed PR and 4 patients (67%) received clinical benefit. 1 patient in PR showed complete response in the target lesion but was included in PR because <span id=\"spanHghlt8629\">a tumor<\/span> was found in a non-target lesion.<\/p>\n<p>The number of PR and SD remains the same from our previous interim results whose cut-off date was <span class=\"xn-chron\">June 2020<\/span>. The same 3 patients who were receiving treatment as of the previous cut-off date continued to receive treatment as of <span class=\"xn-chron\">September 2020<\/span>. As such, PFS (Progression Free Survival) and OS (Overall Survival) are likely to improve for the final results. Adverse events were similar to those shown in the previous interim results.<\/p>\n<p>mTNBC is a highly malignant type of cancer that shows a high recurrence rate within the first five years after the diagnosis. mTNBC accounts for 10-20% of all breast cancers and shows a 5-year survival rate of <span id=\"spanHghlt6679\">approximately<\/span> 11%. Unlike some other breast cancers, mTNBC does not express estrogen or progesterone receptors or human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), and it does not respond to existing cancer drugs designed to target these markers. mTNBC is very difficult to treat, and there are very few FDA approved treatment options for these patients.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The early activity signals for olinvacimab in combination with pembrolizumab for mTNBC patients are highly encouraging.
